Once upon a time, one out of 10,000 children was autistic. That number has now grown to 1 out of 150, and may one day be as bad as 1 in 50. One out of 5 children needs Special Ed in today's schools. The first half of this documentary focuses on the struggles of children afflicted with autism and the burden of care shouldered by their parents. The second half of the film is extraordinarily hopeful. It appears that autism can be GREATLY improved by a whole different diet and lifestyle ... you guessed it! ... going natural, organic, avoiding dairy, additives and other elements of modern living we are discovering to be hard on our health. That a rigorous "cleansing and balancing" regimen would so help the autistic is more than a pleasant surprise, given the tragic turn so many lives take once the disorder sets in. A film that is wonderfully inspiring and definitely worth seeing -- even if you think you know all about vaccines and the harm they are capable of creating!
